Where it started
Before it was a name, it was something people shouted at each other on the road. Flenjor — flexing, enjoying, having a good time regardless of what the week did to you.
Nobody says it in a boardroom. It gets said outside a bar with plastic chairs, at a Lagos bus stop, at a chicken shop in London, in a group chat at 1am. That's the crowd we come from.
What it means
Living fully is not a holiday abroad. It's the everyday version: finishing a hard shift and still linking up. Buying the round when you can. Putting on something clean and feeling like yourself on a normal Tuesday.
Enjoyment no be for rich people alone.
Where it's going
Flen Jo is a UK-Nigerian streetwear label. Made for the ends and for the roadside, priced for people who work for their money. We'd rather take time and get the first pieces right than rush something out to look busy.
